Lovecraft Lister Generators |
|

Lovecraft is converting generators! We have developed a conversion kit for the Ship Lister-clone Generator. Lister-clones are used throughout the world and are based on the original 1929 design that requires very little maintenance. There are Lister Generators that have been going strong since the 1940's! Lister-clone Generators are extremely rugged machines that produce between 3-6 kilowatts of steady electricity and are incredibly fuel efficient. The Portland Lovecraft ran their generator for over 8 hours on less than a gallon of waste vegetable oil (WVO)! These generators are water cooling so the coolant can be used for heating living areas and mechanical tasks such as pumping water. The Lister-clone Generators have been of high interest among farmers, people of the do-it-yourself mind set and anyone who wants a reliable generator. People have stopped by the Portland Lovecraft just to check out the Lister Generator and watch it chug along on WVO. Fashion Exclusive: Seaplane Changes Ownership, plans to expand to L.A. June 1st 2008 2:41pm The former owner of Red Light Clothing Exchange , this petite powerhouse spends most of her time nowadays opening American Apparel stores across the country as well as promoting the benefits of bio-fuel through her Lovecraft Biofuel Co . throughout the globe. That's when she's not prepping for her upcoming Fashion Design Camp (the next one begins July 28) or being a single mom raising two kids. Like I said, she's busy. That's why I was bit blown away when she sent me a text announcing that she wanted me to stop by her "new" shop. Now, what on earth, could she be doing now? Well, in typical Tacee fashion, it's big and about to get bigger. That's because Webb, and her 10-year-old-daughter, Palace , have just taken over ownership of Seaplane. For eight years, Seaplane , co-owned by Kathryn Towers and Holly Stalder , has been THEE place for P-town's fashion friendly to either show or buy their wares. And their fashion shows are nothing short of legendary. Well, kids, hold on to your Manolos . Seaplane is about to expand. Webb told me that she will continue to operate Seaplane's flagship store on Northwest 23rd Avenue, but plans to open another Seaplane outlet in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Silverlake by late July. It's Webb's hope that Portland designers that have been featured at Seaplane PDX will also catch fire at Seaplane LAX . Webb says she also plans to launch a Fashion Design Camp just like she has done in Portland out of her L.A. HQ. According to Tacee, Towers and Stalder will continue to stay involved and show their work at Seaplane as well as continuing to work with Webb on Fashion Design Camp as they have for the last two years.

News Sea Change Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Mon, Jun 2 at 9:26 AM
After eight years of helming the reigns of Portland’s indie fashion scene, Seaplane has been sold to former sneaker pimp and American Apparel/Red Light/Fashion Camp/Lovecraft Biofuel impresario Tacee Webb. There’s a second LA location in the works for the store, which essentially put Portland fashion on the map. Original founders Holly Stalder and Kate Towers will continue to sell at the store, as will many of the designers that have defined the aesthetic. Laura Irwin of Precious and a familiar face at the Seaplane store on NW 23rd will stay on full-time. Stay tuned to see how things shape up; I’m particularly interested in seeing how the exportation of Portland designers goes over in LA. I wouldn’t be surprised to see lines like church + state becoming popular with Hollywood stylists, in an environment thats particularly interested in one of a kind and limited pieces (how would you feel if you ended up in a “who wore it better” poll?). With Webb’s business savvy and Towers’ and Stalder’s newfound freedom, expect to see good things from all. |

Fields of Fuel is more than a film. It is a catalyst in a social movement for clean, sustainable, localized energy production. And ultimately, the film is a catalyst for peace.
This year, the Fields of Fuel crew will be joined by 10 biofuel-powered vehicles and over 40 professional educators and outreach personnel on a 50-city nationwide tour. The objective of the tour is to bring green energy to the cities and towns of America – and just as importantly, to make green energy the #1 issue in the 2008 presidential elections. The Fields of Fuel Community Action Campaign will involve schools, colleges, local leadership and federal leadership in actions that can green our communities and increase their sustainability today. Farmer Fuel Self Sufficiency Project |
|
FARMERS: We need your input! LOVECRAFT BIOFUELS is currently developing vegetable oil conversion kits for fuelling farm equipment. These conversions would give you the ability to GROW YOUR OWN FUEL with crops like soybean, cottonseed, and corn. The oil pressed from these crops can be used to power tractors, harvesters, generators, and other diesel farm equipment. We want to know the particular needs of today's American farmers. What vehicles/machinery do you need converted? What make, model, and year are they? What are your average fuel costs per year? We're listening. click here to learn more!
Please contribute to our Farmer Fuel Self Sufficiency Project forum here .Soon, we'll be hitting the road with some of our farm equipment conversion kits. If you'd like to be a part of the initial experimentation, please contact:

At Lovecraft, we have had the honor of helping some very well know personalities convert. Governor Schwarzenegger entrusted one of his military hummers to our staff, and we thank him for taking a big step in raising awareness!
Mandy Moore sports this beautiful burgundy Mercedes coupe, representing the other end of the spectrum of convertible vehicles. |
